Strong GHS-R1a agonism producing large GH pulses, with moderate cortisol/prolactin elevation and hunger.
These are effects reported or investigated in research, much of it preclinical. They are not proven outcomes or health claims.
Short; acute GH response is measured over hours
Raises cortisol and prolactin; increases appetite.
Common side effects
Histamine reactions
Common. The post-injection flush, redness and itch — most noticeable with CJC-1295 and GHRPs — is a histamine-type response that usually passes within 30–60 minutes.

Basis: Clinical studies and consistent community reports for GH secretagogues. Educational only, not medical advice.
Insulin, metformin and other diabetes medicines
Growth hormone lowers insulin sensitivity, so blood sugar can rise and diabetes doses may need adjusting.
Steroid replacement (hydrocortisone, prednisone) for adrenal insufficiency
Growth hormone can lower cortisol activity; people on replacement may need a higher maintenance or stress dose.
Thyroid medicine (levothyroxine)
Growth hormone can unmask an underactive thyroid or change thyroid needs; thyroid labs are usually rechecked.
Medicines or supplements that raise prolactin or cortisol (antipsychotics like risperidone, metoclopramide)
GHRP-2, GHRP-6, hexarelin and MK-677 can raise cortisol and prolactin themselves; effects may stack.
Everything else you take, including supplements
Bring a full list of medicines and supplements to your pharmacist or clinician before starting.
Basis: No interaction studies for these research secretagogues; concerns follow from the growth hormone they release (somatropin label). Educational only, not medical advice. Never stop or change a prescribed medicine without your prescriber.
